Bachelor of Commerce

The Bachelor of Commerce Degree is an undergraduate degree in commerce and related subjects which is  accredited to Bangalore University.  It is designed to provide a student with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time, builds competence in a particular area of business studies.

The B.Com programme provides helps students to understand  the functioning of business organizations, commercial transactions and of various specialized operations such as accounting, finance and marketing.

Duration:

The Course of study for the B.Com  Degree shall extend over a period of three academic years, each academic year comprising of two semesters, and excluding the duration of examinations, each semester comprising sixteen weeks of class work.  The candidates shall complete his/her B.Com Degree within six years from the date of admission to the First Semester of the Course.  Students who successfully complete Three (03) years of the course will be awarded Bachelors Degree in Commerce (B.Com.).

Eligibility:

A Candidate who has passed the two year Pre-University Examination of the Karnataka state with any combination of optional subjects or any other examination recognized as equivalent to shall be eligible for admission to the B.Com Degree Course.

Students of other states joining the college for the degree course should produce their 10+2 certificate (Equivalent to Pre-University Certificate) or a provisional one, transfer certificate and their migration certificate from the university they have left.  They will attend the college at their own risk till their certificate is recognized by the Bangalore University.
